Mr Raj Rattan MBE, BDS FCGDent FICD FFFLM Dip.MDE MA (Phil.)

Raj Rattan owned and operated a small practice group for some 30 years. He was involved in postgraduate education first as a Programme director and later as Strategic Associate Dean for foundation training in London. He has provided consultancy services to the NHS, Denplan, dental corporates and the Department of Health where he has previously served as a Policy Adviser. He is the author/co-author of several textbooks and numerous articles. Raj has lectured extensively throughout the UK and internationally. He was a part-time dento-legal consultant at Dental Protection for over 20 years before taking up his current role as Dental Director in 2016. He is a visiting Professor of general dental practice at the college of Medicine and Dentistry. Outside dentistry, his interests include writing fiction, philosophy, motor sport and magic.
