Dr Scott Aaron BDS

Dr Scott Aaron qualified from the University of London in 1999. Since 2008, he has served as the Clinical Director for Herts Urgent Dental Care, where he leads a multidisciplinary team of over 150 dentists and dental care professionals. Under his leadership, the service provides more than 30,000 urgent dental appointments each year, playing a critical role in delivering timely and effective care to the community. In addition Scott is also an active contributor to dental research. He was the lead author of a primary research study on acute apical abscess, published in the British Dental Journal in 2018.

Course Overview

This lecture provides an up-to-date overview of diagnosing and managing acute dental conditions, with a particular focus on changes in pharmacological practice, care pathways, and record-keeping requirements that reflect current standards of care.
