Aims and Objectives:

AIMS: To explore common technical and procedural errors in endodontic treatment and their potential impact on outcomes with strategies for avoiding and managing these instances. To understand the rationale and protocols for contemporary endodontic preparation and obturation.

OBJECTIVES: To understand how common procedural errors occur including canal blockages, ledge creation, fractured instruments and root perforations. With this understanding, learn how to avoid these errors and implement appropriate strategies to manage them. To review contemporary endodontic preparation and obturation techniques and get a feel for them using simulated teeth in a hands-on setting.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: This course will equip delegates with a deeper understanding of why technical errors occur, how to avoid them and how to manage them when they occur. Delegates will learn how to carry out simple root canal preparation and obturation in a 3D-printed tooth.

He maintains a specialist referral practice at the Harley Street Academy of Advanced Endodontics where he also provides mentoring and training in advanced endodontic techniques sharing his philosophy of excellent patient care using cutting-edge technology. David is also an honorary clinical lecturer at Eastman.
