This forward looking presentation will examine the foundations of modern prosthodontics with an eye to the future.

The wide ranging talk will include topics such as aesthetics, osseointegration and occlusion. Lessons learnt from false messiahs will be illustrated and guidance given on the avoidance of future pitfalls. The lecture will be based on well over half a century of clinical experience with the accent of practice based upon a scientific background.
