The practice of dentistry is challenging, and there is a body of evidence demonstrating high levels of stress related burnout and impact on wellbeing amongst dental practitioners. In this talk I will explore the evidence of the extent of impact on wellbeing among the dental team, as well as the common sources of stress. I will outline evidence based approaches to managing the wellbeing of the dental team.
