Today we had the chance to attend Kostas Karagiannopoulos’ Injection Moulding Course — and I have to say, I really enjoyed it.
What stood out most wasn’t just the content, but the tone of the day. It didn’t feel like a formal lecture; it felt genuinely collaborative. The environment was close-knit and relaxed, and people felt comfortable asking questions.

The course focused on using G-ænial Universal Injectable to create precise, additive composite restorations through a clear stent based on a wax-up or mock-up. The workflow was efficient, logical, and — importantly — clinically applicable. We covered case selection, composite handling, and finishing and polishing protocols.
One of the most interesting takeaways for me was the discussion and practical implementation around restoring from canine to canine (3–3) — a technique I’m genuinely looking forward to implementing.
We also had broader conversations about clinical decision-making — from choosing the right materials to how we manage emergencies. Nothing felt overly didactic or textbook-heavy; it was all practical, relevant, and immediately useful.
Massive thank you to Kevin Silver and the whole Alpha Omega team. Kevin’s done a fantastic job this year — every event has felt well thought-out, consistent, and inclusive. It’s been a pleasure to be part of the community, and I’m really looking forward to what’s to come over the next couple of years. And yes… hopefully more bagels.
